WE WELCOME ALL INITIATIVES !

A significant and essential part of our donations originate from events and initiatives from volunteers.
These are invaluable gifts as they secure the viability of our centers /orphanages in the medium to long term.

We are always looking for new ideas for events and fund raising efforts for the children of Cairo.  And of course any suggestions for raising the awareness of FACE.

Do you have any ideas to share ?  Do you have some time to give ? Do you have a special and unique talent which you feel could help FACE?  Please let us know !  Phone us !  Email us ! or please come by our offices.

In addition, we have many ideas which we are having difficulty carrying through due to lack of time or lack of funding.  Perhaps you have the time or means to help us.  Let us know !

 

EXAMPLES :

 

a) Volunteer initiatives :

If you have some time, please let us know what you like to do and what you do well.  Depending on your availability (ongoing or specific times), we certainly have something that corresponds to your talents !

  • Administration
  • Small trips for gathering clothing and clothes
  • Graphic work
  • A small presentation of FACE to your child's school. We have all of the necessary equipment and material
  • Sponsoring efforts; cycling holiday, a walk, we can help organize it by email or by post
  • For your birthday or marriage or a special evening
  • Bridge tournament or scrabble (we have a specialist who can help)
  • You know a talented artist (comedian, actor, musician... or a celebrity who would like to sell their priceless clothes to benefit FACE.
  • A valuable collectable to sell on e-bay for FACE.
  • As a volunteer, you would like to organize an event in your neighborhood or with your friends. We have volunteers who have experience and can give you tips. Come talk to us!
  • An evening or performance to benefit FACE (with or without animation)

Anything is possible.  We are here to help you help us.  Let us know !

 

b) As a company :

As a FACE volunteer in your company :

  • You can organize a presentation in order to raise funds or collect material. Perhaps you found a talent for organising events or fund raising, we have volunteers who can support you.
  • Organize a competition between different departments in your company.
  • Organize a sale
  • Competition
  • A sporting event

We are here to help you help us !

If you are a manager or owner of your company, all sponsoring events are welcome.  Contact us to discuss all the different sponsoring formulas, such as :

  • Sponsoring
  • Donations of any kind
  • Visibility/ advertising
  • Company outing in honour of a new product
  • Event participation in the form of a gift, a raffle or auction prize.
  • ...

Of course many ideas can be fiscally beneficial (to help motivate your board of directors....).  FACE can support your efforts by advertising on our website, by sending invitations, email or strategic mailings.

 

c) As an educator/teacher or head of school :

Children are particularly sensitive to the distress of other children and can sometimes be the best to motivate parents to participate in :

  • Organising art expositions
  • Organize or support a performance
  • Donation collections
  • Sponsoring of a walk, bike ride etc
  • Small activities like a swim race, ping-pong tournament, bake sale, etc.


All ideas are welcome ! Small or big.  FACE can help you organize and communicate.
