The CYTI Network is a worldwide network of organizations that aim at providing the highest standard of services to marginalized urban children and youth, their families and their communities. FACE became a member of this network in March 2008.

The CYTI Network has been established by Friends-International to:

  • Participate in the global increase of social and economic opportunities available for marginalized children/youth and related groups
  • Support partners to increase their standards and/or develop new services
  • Ensure that members services are based on the Convention of the Rights of the Child and adopt a developmental approach
  • Make CYTI Network membership a label of quality for its members.

There are currently 20 members and affiliates of the CYTI Network in 7 countries (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Egypt, Mexico and Honduras) who supported 18,200 children and youth in 2008.
